Ha 420 Aircraft - The Honda HA-420 HondaJet is the first aircraft developed by Honda Aircraft. M-HNDA owned by Marshall Aircraft Sales in the UK

The Honda HA-420 HondaJet is the first aircraft developed by Honda Aircraft. The light business jet was designed in Japan, then developed and manufactured in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA. Designer Michimasa Fujino sketched the HondaJet in 1997, and the concept was locked in 1999. Boeing wind tunnel testing proved proof of concept in 1999. The version of the HondaJet, which was reviewed (but not ready for production), flew for the first time on December 3 2003 at Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA. Honda approved the commercial development of the HondaJet in 2004. The HondaJet made its world debut on July 28, 2005 at the annual EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Air Show. On July 25, 2006, at that year's Airventure, Honda announced that it would commercialize the HondaJet. The first FAA-compliant HondaJet (built to FAA regulations) made its maiden flight on December 20, 2010. The maiden flight of the first production HondaJet took place on June 27, 2014 and was unveiled at this year's AirVenture on July 28. . Since 2015, four HondaJet aircraft have completed 2,500 flight test hours. The HA-420 program itself is plagued by delays. The original planned certification date was "End 2010", but in spring 2009 it was pushed back by a year. In May 2010, the expected date of certification is the end of 2012. The program was postponed several more times. The HondaJet received an "FAA Interim Certification" in March 2015, allowing production and demonstration flights to proceed, but no customer deliveries. The aircraft was type-certified by the FAA in December 2015. HondaJet toured Japan and Europe in 2015, and the type was certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in May 2016. And the Honda MH02 was manufactured and assembled at the Rospet Flight Research Laboratory at the University of Mississippi in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The MH02 was a prototype using carbon fiber and epoxy resin composite materials, and was the first light business jet to fly entirely.

Designer and company founder Michimasa Fujino began sketching the HondaJet in 1997, and the concept was firmly established in 1999. According to Fujino, the nose design of the Honda Jet was inspired by Salvatore Ferragamo boots.

To better understand the commercial potential of the HondaJet, Fujino made its first public demonstration of the HondaJet on July 28, 2005 at the annual EAA AirVture Oshkosh Air Show.

The debut received much attention and convinced Honda management to commercialize the HondaJet, which Honda announced publicly at AirVture the following year.

After Honda announced the commercialization of the HondaJet HA-420 in 2006, the first delivery is planned for 2010.

The first FAA-compliant HondaJet (built under Federal Aviation Administration rules) made its maiden flight on December 20, 2010.

Production aircraft were built at Piedmont Triad International Airport. Construction of the factory began in 2007 and was completed at the end of 2011.

At the beginning of 2015, 12 aircraft were in final assembly, with another 5 in early production.

By May 2015, 20 aircraft had been produced. Honda estimated that it would produce 40 aircraft in its first full year, then up to 60 a year thereafter.

As of April 2016, approximately 20% of the first 100 aircraft ordered were for European customers.

Honda planned to increase production to 80 units per year after March 2019. In the first three quarters of 2016, six aircraft were delivered, reaching a production rate of 36 units per year.

In 2017, 15 aircraft were produced in the first quarter, with an annual target of 55 to 60 aircraft.

After deliveries began in late 2015, the HondaJet quickly became one of the best-selling aircraft in its class.

In July 2019, Honda Aircraft began construction of a new 82,000-square-foot, $15.5 million wing assembly center on its campus.

Range increased by 214 to 1,437 nmi (396 to 2,661 km) thanks to an additional fuel tank and aerodynamic improvements. The stabilizer's horizontal ends are slightly widened and the hinge slots are tightened, allowing ergized flow through the stabilizer without its vortex gears.

The new engine intake reduces vibration and noise in the cabin, the toilet gets a belt seat that allows a fifth occupant with the galley; Avionics enhancements to the Garmin G3000-based flight cockpit include takeoff and landing (TOLD) calculations, angle of attack protection and Flight Stream 510 functionality.

Avionics enhancements include takeoff and landing (TOLD) calculations, compatibility with the Flight Stream 510 wireless gateway, advanced electronic checklist, PFD angle of attack indicator and visual approaches.

On the other hand, HondaJet Elite features such as an extra fuel tank or engine intake acoustic upgrades are not available on the APMG.

On October 12, 2021, Honda unveiled the HondaJet 2600 concept at the 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition as shown in a mock-up; with a cabin for up to 11 seats, it offers a range of 2,625 nautical miles (4,862 km), a cruise speed of 450 knots (830 km/h) and a ceiling of 47,000 feet (14,000 m).

The $10-12 million jet would be the longest-range single-pilot business aircraft, retaining the HondaJet configuration, stretched from 42.6 to 57.8 feet (13.0 to 17.6 m) and would have a wingspan of 56.7 feet (17.3 m), 16 ft (4.9 m) longer, with a MTOW of 17,500 lb (7,900 kg) and a takeoff distance of 3,300 ft (1,000 m), while its fuselage cross-section is more oval at higher altitude 62.5 in (1,590 mm).

The twin seat HondaJet 2600 concept is designed to test the market to assess demand before deciding to launch the program.

The Glasflügel H-201 Standard Libelle proved extremely popular, but was not an optimal aircraft for club and rtal use, due to its low, mid-tail area, which could be damaged on off-airfield landings. French Foreign Legion Training - People usually think that being in the French Foreign Legion means a lot of disturbing moments and inhumane training. I spent half my service on courses across France. First as a student, and later as an instructor. Are all these workouts really that hard? No, not all of them.

Moments, mostly in Castelnaudary or in the mountains. But in this article I am going to write about the AMF scene in French Guiana. From my point of view, this is the most difficult training in the French Foreign Legion that one can take part in. So what is an AMF phase?

Probably the most accurate translation would be "Assistant Jungle Instructor" or "Assistant Jungle Instructor". This training has the reputation of being the most difficult offered to legionnaires in the French army.

Training, like all physically demanding courses, begins with an entrance test. Legions must show the instructors that they have their place and deserve to take this training. The program before you go to the forest is running in boots every morning (from 8 to 10 km), rope climbing, push-ups and an obstacle course. A midnight swim in the regimental pool with your hands tied is also part of the selection. Instructors must test each candidate to the best of their ability.

All this happens in the style of the French Foreign Legion. Pupils must run while moving, as walking is strictly prohibited during the day. The instructor's goal is to destabilize each volunteer as much as possible. The selection starts from the very first day. Nothing escapes their eyes. Every little sign of weakness is rewarded with phrases like:

Most of the time some people leave the training by the end of the first week. The intensity of the training is very high and not everyone can support it, even if the real part of the course starts from the second week.

Before the trainees get into the truck, they lose their identity (again) and become numbers for the duration of the entire course.

The AMF scene has been developed in a way that enables trainees to gain the necessary knowledge and experience to become an assistant instructor. To achieve this goal, the Legionnaires train day and night on various obstacle courses, but not only on the cross technique. At the end of their training they should be able to learn the correct way to cross the obstacle course and this is not always obvious.

Especially not for a young legionnaire, but since it's just numbers, the instructors don't take rank into account. Everyone must take responsibility during specific missions. This is most common when a hunter or soldier gets lost in the woods. The pupils must organize a rescue team and lead the mission. The leader (even if he is 1

Class Legionnaire) commands and leads the team, so he must master the use of various orienteering techniques. Once they find the "victim" (usually another trainee), the group must bring him back to base camp in a makeshift stretcher.

The instructors force the team to move as fast as possible. If that's not enough, they tighten the fit with some tear gas. The way back to the camp is not a beautiful walk, but a real obstacle course that goes into the cup and between the mangroves.

The trainees are constantly wet and never stop doing push-ups and jumping jacks. They have to show their best performance even in the worst conditions. The theoretical explosive course in the evening by candlelight, with soft music in the background, obliges them to overcome fatigue.

As the training comes to an end, the Legionnaires spend about a week in the jungle and must survive with only basic equipment. Instructors carefully search all their belongings before bringing them blindfolded into the training area. They have to build a shelter, organize their daily life and collect food because they leave CEFE empty handed. This section ends with a 9km run back to the centre. If the trainees have not managed to collect enough food, this exercise should be undertaken on an empty stomach.

At the end of the training, participants become an official AMF if they clear all obstacles and pass the tests. These legionaries can be deployed as specialists in a combat unit, in the SAED (Section d'Aide à l'Engagement Débarqué – Landing Support Platoon) or as an assistant instructor in the CEFE.

When I was in French Guiana, my company became part of the 9th Marine Regiment. We operated mostly on the west side of the area. I've never been to 3

REI, but if I could restart my career, I would ask for a long surveillance mission. I learned the most useful things in "Operation Harpy" and I regret not being able to undergo training at CEFE.

Several times a year, a select few American soldiers can attend a very special course in the deserts of Africa.

The French Desert Commando Course is run by the elite French Foreign Legion and usually hosts French soldiers and commandos who will fight Islamic extremists in the Sahel.

As is common with courses abroad, U.S. soldiers selected to attend a course in another country usually must go through a pre-selection process conducted with their unit. This allows the unit to ensure that it is sending the best soldiers to represent the US military.

Typically, U.S. troops assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa try the French course, but sometimes there will be students from other units.

FORT BLISS, Texas - As the government slowly reopens, soldiers are resuming their battle rhythm while continuing to adhere to COVID-19 precautions, which allow training for strength and effectiveness in special circumstances.

Soldiers are encouraged to wear masks and gloves and maintain social distancing even during the most intense physical training.

Fort Drum Soldiers Have New Approach To Physical Fitness

Despite these unscheduled times, it is important for soldiers to remain at the highest level in order to increase operations and carry out their missions effectively, according to Capt. Amber Oates, Physical Therapist with 4th Battalion, 70th Armored Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division.

"The reason we prepare and emphasize physical strength is because when the time comes to fight our battles, that's when it matters," Oates said. "We are only as strong as our weakest link, so it is the duty of all Soldiers to take their physical strength and performance into their own hands."

Soldiers who have not maintained their physical condition during illness may feel compelled to work harder in an effort to complete the remainder of their training. Named after the Native American warrior Black Hawk, the UH-60A was commissioned by the US Army in 1979 to replace the Bell UH-1 Iroquois as the Army's tactical transport helicopter. It was followed by electronic warfare and special operations versions of the Black Hawk. Improved versions of the UH-60L and UH-60M instruments were also developed. Modified versions were developed for the US Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. In addition to US military use, the UH-60 family has been exported to several countries. Black Hawks have fought in conflicts in Granada, Panama, Iraq, Somalia, the Balkans, Afghanistan and other parts of the Middle East.
